Profound beauty is found in the tension. Daje James makes it her goal to seek it out and expose it—to lay bare the beauty of our human connection in the light of creative courage. As a brand strategist, author, artist, and "story doula", her work is to make space for artists to breathe in their process. She has spent the last eight years in the world of social media, digital marketing, and branding as a writer, designer, and content creator; and the last six years serving creative communities in the roles of Creative Director, Marketing Director, and Brand Strategist. She feels guided by the universe and the spirits of her ancestors to stand in this work, challenge systems, and build around the fires of the collective creative process. She feels guided to write about it, ponder it, and call souls back to stand around these fires together and be heard. She is the founder of Founding Space: A Community Design and Brand Strategy Studio and Brave School: An Institute of Dreaming for Wild-hearted Artists and Creative Entrepreneurs.
